Alisha

AlishaGHello! Thank you for stopping by. My name is Alisha and I’ve been married to Jason, the love of my life, for over 26 years now. We have three beautiful children – a daughter who just graduated college, a son who just graduated high school and one teenage son we are still homeschooling.

I am an artist and general mess maker (just ask my husband). I love to craft and create – especially taking vintage pieces and repurposing them into something entirely new.  A few of my craft tutorials are here. I love all things English, 19th century literature (Jane Austen & the Brontës are my homegirls), vintage china, pink roses, “cottage-chic” decorating, and being at home to enjoy it all.

My desire is to inspire, encourage, and empower you to live an abundant and satisfying life – a life that flourishes in every area: spirit, soul, and body!

SPIRIT: I have been in full-time ministry with my husband for well over 20 years, and have written several books to help you grow spiritually and discover Your God-Given Purpose. Establishing yourself in the Word of God and prayer is the foundation for flourishing in every other area of life.

SOUL: I write a lot about cultivating the different areas of your soul, as well as exploring and igniting your creative passions. As a mixed media artist, I’ve created several art courses for you and your children to enjoy. And I also sell many of my art pieces and jewelry creations on my art site, Alisha Gratehouse Designs.

BODY: As a health and wellness advocate, I have the privilege of encouraging others on their journey of personal well-being. I can help you develop a lifestyle that includes establishing healthy eating habits, a daily exercise routine, and more natural living options with essential oils. God intends that we walk and live in divine health all the days of our lives (3 John 2).

And if you really want to know more about moi, then check out: 10 Things You Should Know About Me and 10 Little Things That Make My Day. I promise, it’s thrilling stuff… 😉

In John 10:10 (Amplified) Jesus said, “I came that they might have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” The New Living Translation of this verse reads, “My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”

God wants your life to be rich and satisfying. and He intends for you to enjoy every aspect of it. He loves you and wants your life to reflect His love and goodness!

He wants you to flourish spirit, soul and body!

I appreciate you taking the time to stop by. Please feel free to comment or ask a question! I will try to respond to each one (intelligently). I’d love to hear from you!

“My purpose in writing is to encourage you…” ~ 1 Peter 5:12 (NLT)
