As I began to share about my experience with Young Living, friends just started ordering the kits through me. I wasn’t planning on doing this as a business because I was already busy enough. But the more I realized how life-changing these oils can be, I knew I had to share with more and more people.
I started researching Young Living’s compensation plan (see video below) and income disclosure, and realized how incredible it is! In fact, ours is way better than that of the fitness company I was previously working with.
Then the Lord gave me the following scripture which encouraged me to begin the “business” side:
2 Kings 4:7 – “Go, sell the oil and pay your debts, and you and your family live on the rest.”
Yeah, I know this was the prophet Elisha giving instructions to the widow woman whose sons were about to be taken as slaves by her creditors, BUT this scripture really resonated with me and confirmed in my spirit that this would be a way to fulfill some of the dreams in my heart.
I don’t know about you, but I have HUGE dreams and desires. My biggest desire is to be able to travel all over the world with my husband and children ministering the love of God and seeing people from every tribe and nation come into His Kingdom.
My husband is able to do this on a limited basis, but he has to work within the confines of a church budget. (Thank God for a church that values souls enough to have this budget!) But there are more nations to travel to, more souls to reach.
This is why I am so thankful the Lord opened up the Young Living opportunity to me. It’s not just about essential oils. A woman can have every oil known to mankind, use them for every housekeeping chore, or to improve her family’s overall health, or to fragrance and purify her home, but still be unfulfilled spiritually, mentally and emotionally.
This business not only helps you live a healthier life, it also has the potential of helping you fulfill the dreams and desires of your heart. It gives you a tool (finances) to help you live the life you’ve always dreamed of.
With Young Living, not only can you bless your family in the area of wellness, but the income can ultimately help you fulfill your purpose in life. Plus you get to help and bless a lot of people along the way!
So when I made the decision to make this a business, the Lord gave me the name Joy Infusers for our community, as well as the following scriptures to go with it:
Romans 15:13 – “I pray that God, the source of all hope, will infuse you with an abundance of joy & peace in the midst of your faith…”
Proverbs 27:9 – “Oil and perfume bring joy to the heart and a sweet friendship refreshes the soul.”
Our “oily” community, Joy Infusers, is a place of joy, encouragement, and refreshing friendship, as well as a fun place to learn more about essential oils. It’s a safe place to share prayer requests and struggles, and to receive strength from other ladies who are on their own path of growth and learning. This community is not just for “business builders,” but for anyone who purchases Young Living products through my personal link.
