If you love chili, but dislike ground beef, then try this delicious alternative — Meatless Chili. It’s much better for you anyway! 😉
Ingredients:
2 12 oz. pkgs of Veggie Crumbles (we use Boca or Gardein Gluten-Free)
1 16 oz. can Chili Beans
1 16 oz. can Black Beans
1 16 oz. can Diced Tomatoes
1 15 oz. can Tomato Sauce
1 lg. Onion (chopped)
1 Green Pepper (chopped)
2 cloves Garlic (chopped)
1-2 T Chili Powder
1 tsp. Dried Basil (crushed)
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Pepper
2 T Olive Oil
Saute onion, pepper and garlic in olive oil. Add sauteed ingredients and all other ingredients to crock pot. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.
